Do you thank God for your pets?

I think we can learn from our pets. I have a dog. He is a daschund and 3 cats. Whenever I am depressed or crying, they give me so much love, comfort, and affection. I think they have more compion for me than a person. Pets are also unconditional with their love also All they want is to be loved and cared for without any selfishness. I believe that is one of the reasons why God created animals too. I also believe that even though he values people more, it bothers Him when cruel people mistreat and abuse animals because they are His creation too. It breaks my heart when I hear about these sick indivduals who torture or neglect animals. Perhaps that is another way God shows His affection towards His children through our pets. What about you?
