Yasmin to Minestrin and still have brown discharge?

I started Yasmin on March 2nd and took the 21 days packs straight through for two packs and then started Minestrin 9 days ago. I got my period and have continued to have brown discharge daily since March 22nd and it hasn't let up for even a day. How long should it take for Minestrin to stop this or am I pregnant and the discharge is a reaction to me continuing the pill? Has anyone out there experienced this while being pregnant while on the pill or is this because I tried to miss two periods?
