What will the world be like in 10-20 years? What will America be like in 10-20 years?

The country and the world does not change much over a decade, over the last ten years things have changed more than usual because of 9/11 and our response to it. The period between 1965 and 1975 was the last time we had this much change in a ten year period. Technology that is now expensive will get cheaper and some new stuff will come to market, but it the adoption of radically new technology takes generation . The economy will get better and then bad again then good.
