How big of a time commitment is a fraternity once you get in?

OK so i just accepted a bid from a fraternity and have just started the pledge processes. This is something that i really want to do. My pledge brothers are really cool, and so are all the actives. The only thing is i had no idea the pledge processes would take up sooo much time. I have a 3.5 average over my three semester of college and do not want to mess that up, and mess my chances up of getting into law school. As it is i have a ton of hw that i manage to get done, but with this whole pledge processes it makes it a lot harder and idk that i can keep up especially with midterms coming up. I just wanted to know if it will be like this once i get initiated or if things will start to slow down?
