Can you make a bios read a cd like a windows recovery disk where u press boot from cd but do a custom file/?

how can i make a cd that has my bios pull up that message "boot from cd" like a windows anytime upgrade/windows recovery disk does cause i accidently got the wrong bios from www.hpp.com it was an update yes i got it 4 MY EXACT COMPUTER and it boots with somthing like bios boot block uhhhhh v1.0 i think i can do a lot but even i cant do a whole lot with this stupid problem well ty if there is a way plz let me kow i just want my $800 COMPUTER TO BOOT UP AGIAN !!!!!!
