I've drifted away from guys who simply were too quiet, too misleading, too unsure of themselves for me to get close to them. I really think you should be honest with her, but not be too blunt. You seem to care about her deeply, and after all those messages and all that you sent her, she must have noticed as well or she is completely clueless. Once she gets back in touch, let her know you'd been worried, don't be afraid to tell her that you missed her, because it seems your earlier nervousness to ask her out may have been misleading. If you really love this girl, please don't let her slip away because you just aren't sure how to tell her. If getting things "back to normal" means simply being friends, that relationship may be harder to keep than just slowly drifting apart. Tell her how you feel!!
