Is there a way to get into big surf island without paying 1000mp for it?

I love burnout paradise, but not enough to pay 1000mp to get into big surf island. the entrance is right there but you have to buy to get in, there has to be a glitch to get ped it, anyone? if there is PLEASE let me know.
