Are progrssive lenses better than bio focal lenses for eyes?

Not particularly. It is solely based on preference. They both achieve the same purpose essentially: elimininating the need for distance and near gles. Older people who need multifocal lenses tend to prefer progessive lenses, since they are no line and people cannot tell. Even older people who have already been wearing bi-focal lenses may stick to them, since that's what they are used to, and because getting used to progessives can be a bit challenging.
